Kimly Seafood @ Clementi

Only a second post about Singapore though Ive been back for more than 2 weeks now.. been staying at home and just resting and recuperating. Plus enjoying mummy’s homecooked food! Yeah my mid sem break has been simply just eating and sleeping but Im not complaining :) And Adelaide is back to being 2.5hrs behind Singapore today- definitely going to have difficulty adjusting when I fly back ><

So this post is about tze char! I think that’s what makes coffee shops in Singapore unique! Affordable dishes shared around enjoyed with white rice amidst the noisy crowd and perspiring in the humidity as you dig into the Assam fish head in front of you. That’s my kind of dinner :)

We went to our usual coffee shop in Clementi for dinner one evening- one that the family has been patronizing for at least the last 5 years.. And the tze char stall was having it’s usual promotions with the big banner hanging by the road.

We started off with Spinach with Beancurd skin and Black fungus $10

Three types of Mushroom with Beancurd $8 (usual price $10)

And my favourite as usual… Kimly Nonya Style Assam Fish Head $13 (usual price $16)

Total cost of the meal with rice came up to $32.50! Cheap and good food with no GST or service charge can only be found in coffee shops. :) Very very satisfying dinner indeed!
