I really really like The Big Table. Brekkie here makes me happy. So if you havent tried this place, you are missing out BIG TIME my friend!
My favourite Green Eggs with Prosciutto, Dark Rye and added Baked Beans (1/2 serve)
Roast Mushrooms with Basil Pesto and the most amazing thick toast ever!
Check out the pesto and butter! Absolutely delish :D
Sencha Green Tea Pot which always completes my morning breakfast :)

Meant to have brekkie at The Big Table but it wasnt open at 8.30am :( So it was off to Zuma which was just next door!
Nothing beats a good poached egg with flowing yolk to start the day!
Eggs Benedict

Zuma’s new Vego Sugo pot- cannelli beans, chickpeas, spinach, eggplant, zucchinis and cherry tomatoes with 2 poached eggs
Amazing goodness all baked in a single pot. Yummy comfort food with a scoop of a spoon :)

Favourite Brekkie/Brunch Places in Adelaide
So apart from desserts, breakfast is the no. 1 meal for me. Love a good start to the day and love waking up early for a good breakfast meal with friends! So here’s my list of my favourite brekkie and brunch places in Adelaide.
1. Queen Street Cafe in Croydon
12 Elizabeth St, Croydon 5008
Must tries are Avocado, Black pepper, Lime on Dark Rye with Crispy Speck and Blue Swimmer Crab Omelette with Fresh herbs
2. Zest Cafe Gallery
2A Sussex Street, Glenelg SA 5045
Zuma Caffe
Rainy morning and instead of laying in bed, it’s time to hit Central Market for brekkie…
Zuma cereal with yoghurt and blueberries
Or.. Zuma’s Serious Pancake with strawberries, bacon and caramelized bananas in maple syrup!
Central Market is never a bad choice for brekkie. Especially with so many small cafes and stalls that are so uniquely good, you are usually spoilt for choice more often than not! :D
P.S. Try Zuma on a Monday if you want to get a seat because that’s when the other parts of Central Market are closed so everywhere is pretty quiet. Come here on a Saturday and you’ll find yourself either waiting for a table or people around you waiting for your table and what’s brekkie when you cant take your time to enjoy it? ;)

The Big Table at Central Market
This post is 3 months overdue :( Because I do not usually upload photos from my iPhone so I clean forgot about these. Anyway it was an impromptu breakfast outing which explains why I did not have a proper camera and everything was taken with an iPhone 3! But this is one awesome place in Central Market you definitely have to try! Everyone usually just goes to Zuma which is directly in front of it but having brekkie at a bar top counter and watching the girls prepare your food is definitely a fun experience :)
Their specialty! Green eggs and Ham!
The green colour comes from the pesto in your scrambled eggs…and I have a thing for Prosciutto with spinach so this was a definite winner for me :)
Very unique and very tasty! Comes in full serves or 1/2 serves :)
Belgiam waffles with strawberries and cream served with maple syrup
Hmmm I prefer thicker waffles especially if it is to be drenched with maple syrup but it wasnt too bad.. Solved my sweet craving for a Saturday morning :)
